Motivation is one of the most important aspects of management. It is amazing how few managers learn the complexities of motivation.

If you are a manager, you are motivating people. Even a negative manager motivates people to do something. They might be motivating them to think poorly of him. They may motivate them to seek a different department or even a new job.
The professional manager motivates positively. They develop a culture of winning. They give praise when it’s due, in many forms. They look for people to praise.

Motivation comes from many sources, and the professional manager knows them. They recognize excellence. They help build the self esteem in their employees. Their employees are often very loyal to them.

The positive motivator always expects and encourages success, and they have a strong belief in others.

The professional manager understands that motivation often involves influencing ordinary people to accomplish the extraordinary. Their leadership motivates people.
