Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

The Six Sigma Green Belt Certification course is based on the same principles as the black belt course. All of the six sigma green belt concepts are taught in one course. The same widely accepted DMAIC model is taught, including the popular principles such as histograms, stem and leaf plot, scatter plot, flow charts, data collection and measurement, failure mode and effects analysis, voice of the customer, and many more.

The green belt course enables learning well over half of the black belt curriculum. Once completing the green belt course, the six sigma black belt course may be taken at a 50% discount off the current price if taken within two years.

BPR's Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is 100% online. The course covers the Body of Knowledge (BOK) of six sigma and all green belt concepts, which will enable the Green Belt to immediately participate in six sigma projects in the workplace.

There are many advantages to the online course. The primary advantages are that the material will be learned to a greater depth and specific modules can be reviewed until learned. It is an opportunity to gain valuable tools and experience. Professionals who display prowess of newly learned methods and produce significant benefits can get quick career advancement. In fact, in some organizations, it is a requirement for promotion.

Our Six Sigma Green Belt Certification course includes over 15 modules based on the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) model. Each module contains several quizzes. At the end of the course an exam is given to test that sufficient knowledge has been obtained to operate successfully as a Green Belt. The candidate may re-take the test until a 75% score is obtained.

The candidate will also complete one full six sigma project utilizing the tools learned and following the DMAIC model. Upon successful completion of the exam and project, the Green Belt Certification is awarded to the candidate. There is no education requirement to take the course.

The course should take less than two months to complete. However, all candidates have one full year access to the course site. We focus on the overall development of the candidate so that they become competent enough. We have specialized in six sigma black belt training and six sigma green belt training courses.

Cost

The course cost of $595 includes one year access to the course, exam, project review, certification, and one license to SigmaXL, a six sigma software bolt-on for Microsoft Excel. Other popular statistical software packages may also be used at the candidate's own expense, such as Minitab.
